Ironvale Siege
★★★★★ 4.7
Ironvale Siege is the tower defence I keep coming back to. Each map is a puzzle first: the paths curve in ways that make certain tower spots priceless and others useless. Getting a slow tower on a hairpin turn feels like solving a small riddle every time.
Upgrades branch instead of just going up a number. A splash tower can become a crowd clearer or a single target hammer, and you commit mid battle, so panic decisions have consequences. I lost a few late waves purely because I upgraded the wrong direction, which is exactly the kind of pressure I want.
The difficulty curve is fair. Endless mode is where the game shows off, throwing mixed enemy types that punish any single strategy. It runs smoothly and never begged me to speed things up.
